Yemen Crisis
Yemen Crisis
The Situation in Yemen
Yemen is facing a dire humanitarian crisis, with over 21.6 million people, including 11 million children, in urgent need of assistance. Years of conflict have devastated infrastructure, leading to severe food insecurity and a lack of healthcare. READ Foundation’s Yemen Crisis appeal aims to provide critical support by delivering emergency aid, educational resources, and improved access to clean water. Your support can help alleviate suffering and bring hope to Yemen’s most vulnerable communities.
Our programs deliver vital aid and education to Yemen's vulnerable children.
We’re committed to empowering Yemen’s most vulnerable through comprehensive aid. We provide emergency relief, including food and hygiene kits, while supporting three schools with essential resources. Our efforts ensure access to clean water and sanitation, distribute educational supplies, and introduce psychosocial support. We create a sustainable path to learning and community resilience by rehabilitating school infrastructure and building staff capacity.

Yemen's Children Deserve
a Chance to Thrive
Without your support, the future for Yemeni children and their families remains bleak. Without intervention, children face malnutrition, lack of education, and poor sanitation, perpetuating cycles of poverty and despair. Schools would struggle to provide basic needs, and communities would lack cohesion and support. By not acting, we risk losing a generation to hardship, denying them the opportunity for a brighter future.
