Back To School
Equipped for Success
At the start of each new academic year, parents rush around to ensure their children have all the tools they need for the year ahead. From uniforms to textbooks and stationery, we make sure our children are well prepared. However, millions of children living in impoverished backgrounds around the world do not enjoy the same opportunities. That’s why we at READ Foundation work hard to prepare the orphans and vulnerable children who attend our schools with the tools they need to succeed. These children are full of ambition and bright ideas and are ready to change the world. However, they lack the basic necessities required to study. Our Back to School initiative prepares them for school and lessens the burden on their families.
Equipped for Success!
These children have big aspirations, wanting to become doctors, lawyers, and engineers. They have the ambition and determination to educate themselves, they just need the tools to do so. YOU can help give these children the equipment they need to better themselves.

Meet Jana and Najwa
Jana and her friend Najwa have just graduated from the 2021/22 School in a Bus programme. English is their favourite subject. They dream that one day they will be able to travel and use their new language skills to meet people.
Jana really likes to draw. The School in a Bus programme allowed her to realise her potential and make something of herself, inspiring her to become an architect. Empowering her and other refugee children allows them to thrive and grow, alleviating poverty in the process. It really does transform their world.
