Higher Education Student Sponsorship
With one of the highest youth populations in the world, Pakistan has immense untapped potential, as education remains inaccessible to many. Many children who graduate from public and private sector schools, are not educated beyond secondary (SSC) or higher secondary (HSSC) education. Despite their academic achievements, many children are unable to attend higher education because their families cannot afford the high tuition fees and associated costs.
READ Foundation strives to help such talented students to pursue their chosen career paths in higher education. Our higher education student sponsorship project focuses on providing financial support to students to enable them to pursue their higher education in the fields of medicine and engineering.
Giving students a chance
All the students considered for the sponsorship have an excellent academic record and are extremely capable. Students are carefully shortlisted after a thorough selection process, to receive a fully funded scholarship that gives them an opportunity to follow their dreams of becoming doctors and engineers.

Sponsor an Engineering or Medical Student
£125/month A monthly instalment of £125 includes the cost of tuition fees, stationery costs, boarding and sustenance. Monthly payments for 4 years will sponsor a student to attain an engineering degree and 5 years for a medical degree. Donate Now
Sponsor an Engineering Student
£6000/one-off
£6,000 will cover the cost of one student's tuition fees, stationery costs, boarding and sustenance for a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree of 4 years.

£7500/one-off£7,500 will cover the cost of one student’s tuition fees, stationery costs, boarding and sustenance for a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree of 5 years.

– University fee: the programme relieves families from the burden of paying tuition fees, so that children can go on to enjoy higher education, following their dreams and aspirations, making friends and being themselves.
– Educational kit: the student receives textbooks for their course work and stationery.
– Accommodation: the programme also covers boarding costs.
– Living costs: a monthly allowance to cover food and travel related expenses.
You will receive updates on the sponsored student’s educational progress. This will include their academic review, hobbies and overall personal development.
