Special Needs Education Hub - Read Foundation

Empowering Through Accessible Education and Support

People with disabilities are often in greater need of humanitarian assistance but are, sadly, less likely to receive it. Many are excluded from school, workspaces, healthcare and other essential services.

As well as facing barriers preventing their full participation within their communities, people with disabilities may be unable to access humanitarian assistance on an equal basis. Factors preventing their access include stigma and discrimination, negative attitudes and behaviours, and a one-size-fits-all approach to assistance.

How you can HELP?

How you can help

Our Special Needs Education Hub strives to become a safe space for children to acquire knowledge, skills and confidence. We aim to develop their self-esteem, empowering them to become confident individuals within their society.

We work with a team of specialists and certified teachers of special needs, so our intervention provides these children with a tailored education. Our goal is to allow children to move into formal education or vocational training if they wish to do so.

An annual payment of £240 or a monthly instalment of £20 can educate a child with special needs for one month.
