The importance of Zakat

“And establish prayer, and give zakat and bow with those who [in worship and obedience]” Quran 2:93)

What is Zakat?

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. It’s an important one, because it is mandatory upon every Muslim who can afford it. It’s not a lot to be honest (just 2.5% of your wealth). But it can make a world of difference for some of the most vulnerable people in the world.

We take this seriously. When donating Zakat, we can make the process as simple and easy for you as possible. Not only do we provide a Zakat calculator, there is also a webchat for our Zakat services called Zakchat. We even have an opportunity to speak to an imam, if you need to speak to someone.

We believe fulfilling your religious duty to others and to Allah should be hassle free.

Your zakat can purify your wealth. Why not fulfil your obligation and help a child to flourish through sponsorship?
