‘Education Works’: Interviews with Individuals Shaping the Future of Learning

READ Foundation is excited to be launching its new series of interviews that explore the subject of educational innovation. Join Dr Sadek Hamid – our Education Specialist as he speaks with some of the most creative innovators amongst British Muslims today! We plan to open up new conversations on education, explore current issues and profile the most imaginative educators in our communities.

In each short episode, we hear from people who have introduced novel ways of engaging young people in secular and religious contexts. Talha Ghannam, creator of the Quran Club App, speaks on the benefits of learning in a virtual community, Shahbaz Mirza talks about why he developed Ramadan Legacy ‘phygital’ tools, the writer Suma Din discusses her journey to becoming a writer and educator, and former Head Teacher Nasir Quraishi evaluates the use of cutting-edge use of technology in helping children maximise their potential in school.
