Celebrate Pakistan Day With the Stars- London

March 23 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Celebrate Pakistan Day with Reema Khan, Shamil Khan and Waseem Badami this March. These bright stars of Pakistan will be visiting three great venues in three great cities for one great cause – empowering orphans in Pakistan.

The cause – empowering orphans

There are almost 153 million orphans worldwide and 400,000 orphans in Pakistan. Typically made orphans as a result of conflict and natural disasters, these innocent little ones are the most vulnerable members of society.

With few or no loved ones to protect them, they often succumb to child slave labour, begging or criminal activity, knowing nothing of the joys of childhood. They desperately need our support and protection. They need empowerment, so they can work towards a brighter future.

Reema Khan

She’s the undisputed Queen of the Silver Screen. As well as excelling as an actress, director, producer, anchor and model, Reema Khan is also a columnist and passionate humanitarian. She’s worked tirelessly with vulnerable people in Pakistan, including women and orphans, and her goal in life is to continue working in the arts and serving human beings in need.

Shamil Khan

He’s one of Pakistan’s most successful actors. As well as winning a raft of awards and playing countless versatile roles, Shamil Khan is currently starring in three popular TV serials and has been nominated in the category of Best Actor (Film) by Lux Style Awards and hosted the 1st Indus Drama Awards TV special. He also has a feature film out this year.

Waseem Badami

Waseem Badami is a hugely popular journalist and news anchor. As well as hosting his current and popular political TV talk show, 11 Hours, which broadcasts on ARY News, he also hosts the popular show, Shaan-e-Ramazon on ARY and was awarded Favourite Current Affairs Anchor – in the male category – by Agahi Award.
