Lebanon Is At a Breaking Point
Since March 2026, violence has forced 1.3 million people from their homes. That is nearly a fifth of Lebanon’s entire population. Schools across the country have shut down, and many have been converted into overcrowded shelters. Families are going without food, clean water, and basic hygiene items. For children, the toll runs deeper. Besides their homes, they have also lost the one place that gave them structure: their classroom. Without it, there is no routine and no way forward. There is only fear, uncertainty, and the feeling that the world has forgotten them.
From food parcels to hygiene kits and school buses, READ ensures the crisis doesn’t shatter children’s hope.
READ Foundation has been working in Lebanon since 2020, providing emergency aid and education for children and their families living in displacement. Inside, trained educators deliver lessons, emotional support, and stability. With access to psychosocial support, nutritious meals, and essential items, children can regain safety and stability in times of chaos.

Your Immediate Support Ensures Children Are Getting Back the Routine and Protection That the Crisis Took From Them.

Our teams are distributing food parcels and emergency kits to families whose lives changed overnight. Every donation makes this response stronger. It means one more child does not have to sit through this crisis with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
