In crisis zone such as Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza, hunger is one of the biggest barriers to education. When a child comes to school hungry, they struggle to concentrate, they fall behind, and in many cases, they stop attending altogether. In Pakistan, millions of vulnerable children, particularly orphans, are not given the opportunity to go to school simply because they are unable to afford it. Instead, they are forced into early marriages and child labour, continuing the cycle of poverty. In Bangladesh, children are living on the streets exposed to exploitation and abuse, often resorting the hazardous work just to survive.
